A few weeks ago my Dad noticed that I had started to looking around for a seat my own size. I was sitting on the steps, empty boxes, a planter at Amy's (which I kept falling into) and basically anything I could find to rest my tush on and swing my legs. Mama made me a temporary "couch" out of her yoga bolster, but in the mean time the search was on for a chair. I found a perfect one at Pottery Barn Kid's, it was a perfect fit. What I did not know, was what my crafty (and budget-minded) Mama was thinking, "Eighty bucks for a baby chair? You've got to be kidding me?! I can do that." So while I've been sleeping she cobbled together some fabric she had and here we go. It's still not quite finished but she was too excited to show me, so here it is. :-)

A place of my own to sit... ah, the simple things.
