It's my birthday... 9 months today. I went to the doc this week and I weigh 16 lbs. 5 oz. and am 27.5 inches tall. I say "tall" instead of "long" because I can stand so well. In this video you can see my standing/clapping ability that I honed in KY/TN on my recent trip. I also can imitate the motor boats I saw on the lake in TN. Mama says I'm a good traveler. Loved seeing all the family in KY/TN hopefully will post some video soon from our trip as well.

Playing with Daddy and Mama comes home...

Dad and I were playing with all the things in my toy box. I was having a great time standing and even trying to take a few steps when Mama walked in. The outfit is something else, right? Dad thought it served a dual purpose, it made him laugh and gave my noggin' some extra padding. Mama says Dad dresses me like Porky Pig ... in other words onsies don't count as pants.

And... yes... I am standing!

I'm moving around a lot now so my folks are looking for ways to confine me for short periods of time. I'm pretty easy-going and humor them a lot by just hanging out quietly in my crib or playpen, but when Mama put me in this box I had to make it clear that it just wasn't an option... but fun to play in nonetheless.

I get around.. and around!

I'm almost 8 months old and have been crawling for a little over a week now. Didn't take long for me to get it down. Last week Mama almost cried (happy tears... I don't get that yet... anyway) when she walked in the door from work and I started crawling towards her. I do that all the time now when she or Dad walk in a room and I'm hanging out on my playmat.

Mama took this video today so you could all see how agile I am... yep that's right I said 'agile.' I like my books. I couldn't decide between the Book of Colors or Circus McGurkis.
