One, two...

I have a few tricks up my sleeve that I am surprising my folks with daily. A couple days ago Daddy was walking me up the stairs and I started counting stairs with him, actually saying the next number before he did. He was REALLY surprised. I've been doing it my head for a while so I thought I'd let them in on it... I can count to ten... but only to nine when I'm being video taped. :-) I can also say and sign "LOVE YOU!"

It's spring!

Hi and happy Spring to everyone. It's warming up and I'm outside a lot so I have some new shoes and I've been playing in the sand at the volleyball court a lot. I also now fit into my snazzy pink crocs that Uncle Johnny gave me and they are a nice contrast to Grandma's green metallic purse. I'm saying lots of new words.



In the sand video I'm saying "bucket" and in the shoe video I'm saying "run" and "vrooom"... because I see a motorcycle. I also say beep beep when I see a car.

Saturday in Malibu with Mama

This is a beautiful park on the bluff in Malibu.
We missed the egg hunt but had a nice walk.

Happy "half" Birthday to me!

My folks made a big deal out of my "half" birthday today. They measured me, put me in a new forward facing car seat, took me to the museum, let me run down the hill and generally made me feel pretty special. I even got to have pizza with Ward and Jana and then swing on the swings... probably should have done that the other way around. It was so much fun. I'd also like to mention that this week is another big birthday, my Uncle Ken is 50! Wish we could be there to celebrate.

A Good Time!

These are my friends Julie and Mary Kate. I saw them in Chicago with the whole Daly family. Lots of pretty girls in that family!



Eats were good in Iowa, here I am having some home-grilled pizza and even though I didn't have a hot dog we got the music for the wiener and bologna songs and my cousins play them for me... I liked that a lot and tried to sing along. :-)



This is my cousin Alex chasing me around the house. Everyone, even Uncle Doug and Aunt Lynne chased me around the house... like they had a choice... I'm really fast now! You should see me in heels!



Geese on the Mississippi river and the nice lady that let me sit on her lap and fed me cran-raisins on the flight home. I'm showing her the sound the airplane makes.

There are lots more pictures and memories of my first visit to Iowa. I saw my cousin Amanda perform in show choir and kept trying to get on stage with her. I had a road trip with Julie, went to the park, shopped, played, stayed up late and slept really well. I fell asleep reading books with Alex , Amanda and Auntie Lynne... they are just so cozy.

Let's talk about (Daddy's) shoes!

For a long time now, actually since I could walk, I've had this thing for shoes. The "thing" is usually just carrying shoes around... the bigger the better. Dad's shoes, Mama's big boots. I carry them by their strings or two at a time.



Now I'm changing it up and wearing the shoes, size is not an issue... see for yourself.
